1980 longbed pickup *How to Lower*

I just bought a 1980 toyota pickup - Longbed. I want to lower the front but im not sure how. If i can i would like it to be free or a cheap mod. Any advice helps. Thanks

You can get drop spindles for around $200+ that's not to bad. You can also loosen the torsion bars a tiny bit to lower it but I would just do the spindles.

In order to run drop spindles, you have to do some modifications to the lower arm to either flip the stock balljoint in the opposite direction, or to fit a newer balljoint. You also need to run the wheel hubs, calipers and rotors from an 84-95 Toyota. I spent about $400 doing the swap on my 80 a few years ago.
If you can find it cheaper, I can fix it.
